Creative Nanosystems Corporation is a joint venture between Sysmex Corporation (HQ: Kobe, Japan) and JVCKENWOOD Corporation (JVCKENWOOD) (HQ: Yokohama, Japan), established on October 1, 2018 with the aim of developing and manufacturing a range of bio-devices. These are in vitro diagnostic (“IVD”) devices that consist of microfluidic flow paths and are designed to achieve rapid reactions with trace amounts of specimens and reagents.

The bio-devices that we are developing are able to contain and pin reagents inside microfluidic channels that are designed using microfabrication and nanofabrication technology at micrometer and nanometer levels. When specimens flow into these microfluidic channels, our bio-devices enables separation into components, along with other types of pretreatment processes, as well as precise control of their reactions with multiple reagents. As a result, even compact instruments will be able to analyze and measure trace amounts of specimens at high speed and with a high degree of precision.
